The shrinking process of Lake Urmia as a Human-Environmental Disaster
In this interview, the shrinking process of Lake Urmia in Azerbaijan region in Iran, as a environmental disaster by human intervention, is reviewed and objectively evaluated by Dr. Hüséyin İsalı and Güneş Zamanzade. To the experts, with all its dimensions, the serious threat of complete disappearance still remains and immediate measures should be taken to save this ecosystem.
