The 5th International Turkish Research Symposium: “OGHUZS: Language, History and Culture”

Hacettepe University Turkish Studies Institute has started the preparations for the 5th International Turkish Studies Symposium. The organization committee has identified the subject of the symposium as “OGHUZS: Language, History and Culture”.

Oghuzs is one of the most important elements of the state and society in the period of Göktürks. This fact has been registered by Bilge Kaghan address to the dominated / ruledpeoples while he mention both of them together the names of “Turk and Oghuz” on Göktürk inscriptions.
